DVD Movie Factory 5 Plus - Cannnot Be ordered in USA?

Post by dblml320 »

Hello,

I tried to order DVDMF5+ today as a download. The ordering system took all of my information including my credit card number, etc. Then when I pressed submit order the system responded with "The developer is only exporting this product to specific countries .. contact customer service."

So is DVDMF5+ not available in the USA? :?

This happened before with VS10 +, and I think with MSP8. It is a glitch with Ulead's website.

dblml320,

I had the same problem when I tried to purchase the full retail boxed version of DVD MF5+ from the Ulead website. What you need to do is call a company called Element 5. They handle all of Ulead's phoned-in orders. Their number is 800-406-4966. They are on the west coast, so they should be available by 11:00 AM eastern time. You will need to give them the nine digit Ulead product number for DVD MF5+, which is 300080395. You are probably better off getting the boxed version anyway.

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Bryan P.

Hi Brian .. since the time of my post I received a URL to an offer to purchase DVDMF5+ for $29.95. So I tried the link, and oddly enough, this purchase was allowed. So I have my copy now.

But I don't get it ... If the original link worked .. then Ulead would have received $49.95 from me, but now they only got $29.95. Well I am happy anyway!

Now I need to give the software a good shakedown to see if all the bugs in DVDMF5 have been fixed.

dblml320,

If you could please do me a big favor, and let me know how your "Shakedown" of DVD MF5+ goes to see if all the bugs in DVDMF5 have been fixed. I have been using VS10+ for all of my DVD authoring so far. I have never owned any DVD MF products before. I received and installed my copy of DVD MF5+ last week, but have not had a chance to use it because I am still in the middle of editing my current project in VS10+. My desire is to use VS10+ for capturing/editing and to use DVD MF5+ for DVD authoring and burning.

Let me know how DVD MF5+ does?

Thanks.

:) :)
Cheers,

Bryan P.
