Missing Help file..
For version 10.0.0110.0, when I click on the ? or press F1, it says my help is missing. I reinstalled and it is still not there. How do I access help? Or install it? Is there an online version?
The reason I ask is I just cannot seem to figure out why when editing a video clip, the option of "same as first clip" does not use the same settings. Every time I create a video clip, the file size is always longer than the original.
I just basically want to cut out some unnecessary section of my videos to make the video show the content I want.
Let me know I if I should post this in a seperate help topic.
Thanks for your time in advance

Hi MrCelebxx, and welcome to the forums..
The help file vstudio.chm should be located in the VS 10 Folder. You might do a search on your system for that file.
In order to help you we need more information. Please read the following : Also please complete your system information in your profile. This will help us in troubleshooting your problems now, and in the future this information will already be available, so you will not have to re-type it.

Thanks, but
Well you said the operative word "should". No vstudio.chm file in site.
I do not think it is related to my system. Is there any where I can get this file?
-thanks

Videostudio 10 - Help file missing
Hi
I also seem to be missing my help file. I've searched for the .chm file and it is definitely missing.
Can someone either send me the file or let me know where to get it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Quote from the Ulead Knowledge Base
To access the program's Help, please click on the question mark (?) button that is located in the upper right-hand corner of the program window and select the 'Ulead VideoStudio Help'. Or, simply press F1 while the program is running. If you have the electronic download installer, make sure the VS 10's Content installer is already installed on the computer before following this procedure.

Cannot find the help file
Thanks, but when I click on the ?, a dialog "Cannot find the help file" appears.
I am not sure what you mean by "have the electronic download installer" or how to determine if the VS 10 Content installer is already installed.
-thanks for the feedback though

The info was from the Knowledge Base
http://www.explorecommerce.com/members/ ... iteid=1231.
Search for Video Studio---Version 10.
I assume it is asking if your version was downloaded, or on disc.
If downloaded then there were several downloads to complete, one being the contents pack. This is where the ‘Help Files’ are.
Have you installed the contents download.

Hope this Helps TrevorUlead usually creates separate installer packs for the contents and other bundled program to make it easier for users to download and install the main program and use it even if you have not completely downloaded everything.
VideoStudio 10's content pack contains the help file, templates for DVD menu, sample clips for video, audio files, images, etc. The Bonus pack installer includes extra media clips, and the bundled programs like Cool3D, PocketDV slideshow program and WinDVD player.
Regarding the installation of the bonus clips in VideoStudio 10, you can double-click the self extracting installer or manually extract them to your local hard drive. Then run the Setup.exe or autorun.exe file. For the audio, video and image clips, please save them into a folder in your local hardrive then drag them into VS 10's media library.

Missing help file
I found a downloadable pdf "user's manual for Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus at this site;
http://www.ulead.com/vs/vstudio.pdf
I hope this helps.
It won't be linked to the "?" that you've been talking about but it is a manual.

Missing help file
Hey folks, this is getting kinda wierd. I too couldn't find a help file. I went to my Ulead VideoStudio 10 root folder and couldn't find a pdf manual so I found the one I just mentioned and saved it to "My Documents" folder. When I tried to copy it to the VideoStudio 10 root folder, there was one there. I then opened Video Studio, clicked on the "?" and Poof! there was my "Help" document. What happened? I downloaded my upgrade to Version 10 rather than order a CD. There were 3 downloads listed. I first assumed that they were options and downloaded the largest file (297.5MB). My assumption was not true. They all must be downloaded and installed so I downloaded the rest. I installed the smallest file first (135MB) and the next largest (240MB) next. I sure thought I installed the largest (297.5MB) last night but evidently not. I just did that this morning and I'm assumimg that's where the pdf manual came from, although I don't know if it's actually the "Help File". Anyway it works now.
Cheers
