Hi!
Does anyone know if the audio/music samples who come with VS10+ have some kind of copyright? Or can users just use them freely (as in: public viewings) or maybe with somekind of creative commons license?

The smartsound music, as far as I know, is royalty free music.
As for the music on any of the video clips that come with VS I can't say. However it would be odd for a company to provide sample clips with music and not expect people to reuse them.
However in many respects it depend on your usage. If its for private use then its unlikely that a company like Ulead will come after you.
If you are using them in a commercially saleable production then it would be worth contacting Ulead to check to be sure before using it.

IMHO, SmartSound is not royalty free. This is from SmartSound's website:The smartsound music, as far as I know, is royalty free music.
