Create Disc stage - How do I start with blank canvas??!!

Post by BritBeef »

OK, this is probably a very stupid question so I appologise beforehand.

I am using the trial version of VS10 and I am about to create the menu screens etc. for a new DVD. I have gone into 'Create Disc' and added the video files to the DVD. Now I want to design my own menu screen but I keep ending up with the example templates being applied.

How do I start with a blank canvas. If I have to choose from selected styles, then how do I add text or images to the menus?

Thanks for any help!

You start with 'Create Menu' and the menu template gallery. You click on 'my title' to customize the menu. Using the 'Edit' tab allows you to add background image, audio etc and also gives you font options.

Hi Terry, thank you for the reply.

I'd done that but hadn't worked out how to get the template how I wanted it. I have managed it now. It's not very intuitive is it??!!

VideoStudio is a video editor that can do some DVD authoring. If you want more cusomization options look into Ulead's DVD Movie Factory or DVD Workshop.
