Tony Wong animation question

Post by Elect »

in the Cool 3D 3.5 product showcase menu is a video under "Tony Wong" called "WarshipII". Does any one know how or if the warp explosion effect (just after the ship launch sequence) was made using just Cool 3D? There is an orange explosion shped like a sphere that has small streams coming out and then two white shimmering "pulses". Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe it's a combination artwork of many softwares, including COOL 3D. Tony uses COOL 3D to do the object modeling and animation. For other effects, I think they were done by other softwares.

Some of the effects (like Particles and Video Textures) now can be done in Ulead COOL 3D Production Studio.
