? about outline drawing tool/width

Post by Berit »

I'm quite new to PI but already I have met so many problems that I'm beginning to
think that a few are bugs, - and not my lack of skills.

Have problems on and off with letters gone missing. (an advice from here helped me)

Now when I am using the outline drawing tools and needs to set the width the max. width is 2...!
I'm trying to follow an online course, - a couple of days ago I used the same function and
made shapes with widht 3,4 and more.

I'm pulling my hair, - someone please help me.

If the situation is that I have many bugs how can I fix that? Should I remove the program
and re-install maybe?

Hi Berit,

it is a bit hard to follow exactly what your problem might be. We have nothing to go by.

May I suggest that you look at this post http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... ighlight= and follow the instructions given there? That will ensure that we know exactly what your system spec's are, every time you post here. You don't have to worry about repeating it (and we don't have to repeat the same questions all the time either  )

From your description of the problems with the letters disappearing, I gather that you are using PI 11. Did you load the patches, especially the SP1? http://www.ulead.com/tech/pi/pi_ftp.htm

Can you email the ufo file to me so I can have a look at it? If you can, let me know here and I will send you a pm with my email details.

Thank you, - I'll get the info and put it in my profil.

I don't have any file to send, - sorry, - as I cannot use the tool as I want to, - I cannot create anything.

I will give you a more spefied explanation. (I'm just to leave home, - I'll get to it asap)
