Bad fun with entering text

The time has come when I wanted to add some text to image in PI11 (with update). So I chose Arial font and tried to enter Polish national characters; they are:

All that I could get (upper row is by copy & paste, lower by entering directly in PI).

I did reload workspace.

So, well, htchien & others, what do you think?

If anyone's interested, there's a workaround, however good rather for short texts.

In status bar of CharMap you get Unicode code value for character (4 or 5 numbers). When entering text in PI, press left Alt and enter the code on number keypad.

Really pity that, in comparison to other similar businesses, Ulead support is good probably only for clarifying basic program usage...

This problem is not fixed in PI12 trial.

To my surprise, this is "by design" ("by omission" I would call it):

I think this can only be fixed by using some workaround because PI is still not a Unicode program.

All you need to do is to enable script selection for a font and properly process keypresses.
