Ulead Photo Impact 11 stretch problem

Hi,

I have created a web album with PI 11. It works fine but upright images are streched. Is there any chance to fix this function in the html code of the page?

A bit hard to say without further information but I don't believe there is. Usually, the html code only links to the image. It depends, I guess, on how the page is set up.

I think the problem is the camera (Canon EOS 350D) It turns the pictures automatic in the right position. I will test it!

I have the same camera, the automatic rotation is an option that you can deselect.

How did you create the slide show?

Under File/Export/Create Web Album

I know I can deselect it but it is a cool feature!

You can swith it on/off in the first settings menu: Auto rotate.

I don't like this because the picture is displayed smaller because the long side fills the short side. Because of the aspect ratio, that makes it rather small. I prefer to rotate the camera for viewing. I rarely ever use the portrait orientation because of the display on the TV. The image is too small with very wide bars either side.

I also don't use PI to create my slide shows. MSP or VS are a lot better suited. I use MSP 7.3 only, no VS.
