All toolbars missing

Post by maplecs »

Hello. I reopened my P11 after a crash, and I get only a gray screen with no toolbars or commands of any kind.

Any advice on how to bring it back?

Thanks.

Go into C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead PhotoImpact\11.0\profiles\current.xum and delete the current.xum.

Replace <username> in the path above with your username.

If you have PI open, close it and reopen. Another way to do this is to right click on the side or bottom of the PI window and select 'Open workspace' then click on customize and choose import. You will see the curent.xum. Select it and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Close PI and reopen, the menu bar and everything else should appear as it intended.

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I found 5 .xum files: advanced, basic photo, graphics, standard, and web. Nothing named current, or with a current date. Any suggestions?

thanks.

Maplecs,

You went to the wrong folder. You are looking under C:Program Files\Ulead Systems\PhotoImpact 11\Profiles..

You need to go to C:\Documents and Settings\your user name here\Ulead Systems\PhotoImpact 11\Profiles.. There should be only the one file here.
