4hr Capture Halts @ 41mins/System Freeze

After several test runs @ shorter durations to adjust all settings, I set Auto Capture @ 4 hour duration. Came back, tuner audio running (as before) but, system won’t respond and activate Monitor from power saver mode. So, no status or error messages available for viewing.

After re-start, I imported the capture file but, only 41 minutes captured.

I edited with AdZapper and burned remaining 32 minutes with SPECTACULAR results, incredible playback on DVD up-convert to DLP HD.
Large edit screen, ease of use and clear, sharp image, auto capture, low CPU usage, this is the best software I’ve found.

Are there any apparent conflicts with my settings? Did the halt occur because the PROJECT TYPE was set at DVD 4.7G? The 41 minute cut-off was a bit early for 4.7G.

If so, should I up it to the HD level and after edits, set correct size before the burn?

Thanks for your response.

I figured as much on the length not being an issue in capture, only at the burn.

Several test runs for 10 to 15 minutes with same configuration (power and screen savers, virus….etc.) had no probs.

I had found one error but, the time stamp was much later than this occurrence so, I didn't mention it in original post:
