Saving Project File while in Share|Create Disc

Post by blplhp »

Is there a way to save your project file (.vsp) while working in Share|Create Disc? The only way I see to save the project file is to click on the "Close" button at the bottom right corner of the screen, but then the project closes and you have to re-enter it to start editing some more. How can you save the progression of your work, but still remain in the project file without getting out of it?

:?:

Hi

Unfortunately that’s the way it works.

If you are following the recommended procedure you are entering the burn with an empty timeline.

After creating your menus the only way to save them is to close the burner module.

Returning to an empty timeline, Now saving the project will preserve your menus.

I do not know why there is no Save Project option from the burner module.

Thanks again Trevor for confirming my suspicion. Seems like someone with influence on this forum needs to notify ULead of these few problems that I have posed this morning. Ulead needs to 1) provide a saving function within the burning module, 2) they need to fix the jog wheel in the Add/Edit Chapter menu so that it will stop on the exact frame one selects. The whole point of the navigation bar tools is to use the "jog slider" to get you in the near vicinity of where you want to mark your chapter point and the "jog wheel's" purpose is to dial in to the exact position, and 3) they need to allow the user to delete the first default chapter preset by the program. These are all little irritating issues by themselves, but taken all together, they become more than a nuissance, it really starts to slow down the entire authoring process. Maybe you or Steve J. can forward these issues to Ulead.

Thanks for your confirmations and your help.
Cheers,

Bryan P.
