Which is why I contacted customer support. My response today was a combination of the response I got from customer support & the messages left about the selected few getting a $29.99 upgrade offer. The squeakest wheel gets the most grease
I do have HiDef in my future. I have my eyes and XMAS budget on the Sony HC1. Blu-Ray, hopefully, eventually. The templates for DVDs, well in my opinion, should be free to ALL users, of any version of MF5. It would help the artistically challenged and those in a hurry. All of the InterVideo stuff - not at all! Again, all I really want is fair treatment. The $$$ are not the real issue.I'm just curious why you want MF5-Plus. Is it for the extra burning features for burning CD's/Dvd's/Blu-Ray?
Or, do you want the program only to have the extra content?
I'm talking about the extra menu templates for MF5_Plus because MF5 Standard doesn't have that many templates.
MF5_Plus is made and geared for HighDefintion Video Files, the newer capture/recording equipment by Sony & Sanyo along with the Blu-Ray and and HD_Dvd burning capabilities.
Kind of a waste if all you want/need are the extra menu templates that come with MF5_Plus and you are using Standard Definition Equipment & Video Files.
BTW- I have run my own software company and have run companies others as well. I am a software developer by trade - 30 plus years. I understand bugs, anomolies, schedules, releases, $$$ for updates, etc. I understand customer relations. I don't understand ULEAD and how they let what could be potentially great products get such a bad reputation due to a lack of response and such bad customer relations - at least how they have related to me. I also don't understand why I let this (my hobby) get under my skin so much.... standing up for what I think is fair, I guess...
