From VS7 to VS10 on Athlon 2000+

Post by LessPaul »

Back when VS8 came out I installed the demo and it brought my video editing to its knees, so I reverted back to VS7. Would I expect the same problem moving to VS10? In other words do all versions 8 and up require a lot more CPU horsepower, or was my VS8 experience unique?

Thanks much.. Paul

Well I'm running an AMD Athlon 64 2.0 Ghz, and have had no problems with VS8, VS9, VS10 +.

However completing this Image may help us determine such matters.

Maybe some system tweaks would help.
