As I do not have a widescreen TV I have the stretch option so that anything I play fills the screen completly.
Playing a disc created with Ulead I get the gaps at the top and bottom, it will not stretch as it does with other DVD's.
I know there are the two options (4.3 & 16.9), When I record from Win TV it is set at 4.3 and using any other software to burn it will fit the screen completely when played back on my TV. Is this not possible with DVD Movie Factory?
I would prefer to stick with this as I 'like the feel of it'
My files are mpg format created with Win TV.
Output is DVD PAL format.

Thank you for your reply.
I am recording programmes using Win TV and yes, they are 4.3 with black bars at top and bottom.
However as previously mentioned, when burning to DVD using Roxio or anything else although it is 4.3, on my television it fiils the screen completely because I have used the stretch option on my TV to fill the screen completely.
When I use Ulead to burn it will not fit the screen as any other application I have previously used.
What I am trying to say is, all programmes are recorded in 4.3 format but because of the stretch option on my TV I can get it to fill the screen completely but not so using Ulead, it remains at 4.3.
Is it to do with how the file is burned to the DVD.
If I had a widescreen TV there would of course not be that problem but I do not own one.
