Mini DVD Capture
Video Studio 9 will not recognize the mini DVD's from my friends camcorder. I can store and play the DVDs with Windows media player, or Win DVD, but U-lead won't recognize them. I am new to this video editing stuff so please make the response user friendly.........Help

What is your Video Studio Version? What is the camcorder make and model?
With 10+, first, insert the MiniDVD in a DVD reader, then try the menu item: File/ "Insert Media File into Timeline" / "DVD/DVD-VR."
Please post your computer specs in your forum profile.

Using your copy of VideoStudio Version 9 - first put the mini-DVD into your DVD tray - then RIGHT click over the timeline and choose "Insert DVD/DVD-VR..." Browse to the "Video-TS' folder on the DVD and select it - click OK - then follow the prompts in the dialogue window and the video should be imported to the timeline.
