Stacks and Tracks
On Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus, I need to know how many stacks can the software have at the same time? Sony Vegas 6 allows unlimited amounts of stacks for videos, audio, and effects all at the same time. Does VideoStudion do the same at the same time? And if not, How many can it hold at the same time? I hope I have explained myself clearly.
Please help, thanks.

If by "Stacks" you mean overlay tracks then VideoStudio 10+ can have 1 base track and 7 overlay tracks - although by a little bit of rendering and re-inserting you can have almost as many as you want. It also has two audio tracks in addition to the video audio.

Like Brian said, with VS10 +, you have 1 main video track, and 6 overlay tracks, making a total of 7 video tracks. These are not picture-in=picture effects, they are full tracks, similar Vegas Movie Studio (which only allows 4). However the similar program to Sony Vegas would be Media Studio Pro. You can have up to 99 actual video and audio tracks, then coupled with that virtual timelines.
For comparisions look at Ulead's comparison chart. Follow the link provided by Brian in his post above.

I went back and re-read your first post. You are not comparing apples to apples here. You mentioned Sony Vegas, which does allow numerous video tracks, however it is not unlimited. Ulead's product that is comparible would be MediaStudio Pro 8. It allows 99 video/audio tracks, Plus Nested timelines, plus virtual clips.
An actual comparison would be Sony's Vegas MovieStudio to VideoStudio 10+. So now that we may be on the same page, VS10+ has a total of 7 video tracks (6 overlay + 1 Main). Of course you have audio in any of the video tracks, then you have a music track, and a narration track.
Now on to your latter questions...
Titles VS uses a Multiple or Single Title approach. With multiple titles you can fill your screen if that's what you desire. Each title can have it's own style and effects applied. With the Single title the style and effects are applied to all the text.
Masks By this are you referring to a Transitional Mask or a Mask to a clip? I'll take it you are asking about the mask applied to a clip.. You can only apply 1 mask to a clip.
Effects You can appy 5 effects to a clip....
Still I think you would get a better idea by trying the program.. We can describe to you all of these things, however without actually being able to see how they work, how will you know if it is what you are after.. Hey after all we are a bit bias towards Ulead, just like other products' forums are bias towards theirs... right???
