semi-opque lines

Post by lakewud »

Reading through all the informative threads...soooo many things is seems can go wrong...and so few go right!!

So, burned a little experiment. Quality not bad, BUT, i notice that theres a thin virtually seethru line running continually across my picture, it doesnt move just sits there..annoying me! Against a blue sky etc its very noticable...whereas against trees, moving objects obviously being semi-opque it isnt too obtrusive.

So whats that then? It isnt on my orignal footage..or it seems whilst editing...i think anyway..but it is there once burned..ive tried this serveral times.

And while im on a roll. Did ask regarding adding sound ( from one particular clip ) to overlap onto a number of other clips. Did refer back to the various help threads..however could really find a step by step way of achieving this im imagining simple procedure. Do you use the stretch sound guide after youve edited your movie? and bring it along to the clips you want to include?

Thanks again.

There is no way that I know of where you could get that line during editing. It must be there on the original already. Have a closer look.

The sound question requires more detail. Maybe that's why you didn't get a response in the other thread.

While we are at it, have you ever noticed this area in your user profile page?

It might be a good idea and certainly a step in the right direction, if you were to fill that in. The data will show when the System button at the bottom of your post is clicked. You don't need to fill it in again if you post another topic.

A few details on your other hardware, like camera, capture cards, method of connection and capture/project settings wouldn't go astray either.

If you get into the habit of providing all details and phrase your questions precisely, a reply and possible help is going to be swift.
