Help
I have been trying to load this program with out success.
Installation goes a treat but as soon as you run the application i.e
VideoStudio Movie Wizard or VideoStudio Editor the program responds with the a run time error message followed by the usual windows message "send error report".
My systems is a Tiny based on AMD 64 Bit Athlon with MSI motherboard runing windows XP Service pack 1.
ATI Radeon 9800
SATA Seagate 180 Gb
I've done all the usual checks uninstall; hovered out all the orphans files assocated with ulead and re-installed but still no luck
Any ideas ??
Ulead VideoStudio 6 works fine by the way
Terry
Ulead VideStudio 8 not loading

Trial version?
It sounds like something to do with the anti-piracy "features" in the trial version. (?) You might think you've removed any traces of a previous install... but it seems to add some secret files, and/or some secret stuff in the registry.
I had a different symptom - I got an "Trial Period Expired" message when I uninstalled & re-installed after 2 days! My system was new, so I really cleaned my system... formatted my hard drive & re-installed Windows.

Thanks DVD Doug
Guess I'll have to format my harddisk and re-install windows.
You would think that the full blown ligitmate version would not suffer from the "anti priracy" secret stuff.
What surpises me is the lack of support I'm actually getting from ULEAD technical support in resolving this issue - effectively none.
