A clean slate?

A clean slate?
After importing images and such I have found that they come up on every start up, and when I try to go to a "new Project" the screen will give a slight flicker and nothing, all prior images are still there and the only way to clean the slate is to delete all images and video. Yes, I did save the project, but it's the saved project that always comes up. Is this the way it works? Hope not.

Hi Dennis
What version of Video Studio are you using?
I suspect you have added the image clips to the library. They are merely links/thumbnails of the files on your hard drive. They will always be there and available for all projects, until you delete them of course.
Press F1 for help read about the Library.
Also read about ‘Adding’ media clips to the library.
Video Studio Project
A *.VSP is the project that holds all the clips, transitions, images etc to create your video, your movie.
They can be seen within the timelines.
Each clip placed in the timelines are again links/pointers/thumbnails of the files on your hard drive.
Editing the clips in the timelines does not alter the files on your hard drive, it just changes the links/thumbnails.
To the top left is the project name, a new project is named ‘Untitled’ If you see an image in the preview window after starting a new project, it is probably an image in the library.
The timelines being empty.
You can retrieve/start the saved project by File-Open Project.
There are two methods of viewing the project,
‘Timeline view’ shows frames continuous
‘Storyboard view shows individual clips.
Press F1 and look at Timelines.
Hope this helps
