I am trying to copy camcorder tape to DVD. All is well but the resulting DVD is jerky at times, especially where there was panning in the original image. Does anybody know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
Help would be much appreciated.
Phil.

Creating DVD from Camcorder Tape (Sony 8) Using Version 2Se

Mainly digital is Lower Field First, Analogue is Upper Field First.
Like every rule, there are exceptions.
Thank you for the advice. In order to implement it, I need to know what the "Capture Format" is the source, namely my 8 Millimeter Camcorder. The Options are: DV,AVI, MPEG, VCD, SVCD and DVD.
Can anybody tell me?
Thanks
Phil.

Have you bothered to read any posts on this forum or are you just shooting through, hoping to get a reply without much effort from your side?
How do you expect anyone to give meaningful advice without knowing what your hardware is? Hardware, in this case, includes everything, from the camcorder (do you know these come in different flavours, like analog, MiniDV, MiniDVD an HD?), the capture device, type of connection, PC specifications etc. Depending on what you have got the steps and settings differ.
You could start by filling in your system details in your profile and telling us a bit more about the rest of it. Furthermore, the questions you asked have been covered in many variations in a number of post. Search the forums, also for VS and MSP, since the steps are very similar, if not identical, for each of these products.
Once you do your part, I'm sure there will be help forthcoming.
