Question on MSP8:
When I select the audio mixing panel (or "run mixer" from Audio Editor), all I get is a window with the volume level of my computer or sound card (with volume control for "Play Control" "Wave/MP3" "Midi Synth" "CD Audio" and "Line In").
In other words, it's the same thing I get when I click on the little speaker in the bottom right of my monitor by the clock.
Is the MSP mixing panel a third party pluggin that I don't have? Or do I have a setting wrong where I'm not getting MSP's panel?
Thanks,
Bud

As it should be. The Audio Editor is for adjusting individual audio clips, not for doing multichanneled mixes. The audio mixing panel in the video editor is for creating multichanneled mixes.
This is largely a limitation imposed by the Dolby license, which allows surround Dolby exports only to rendered video projects and burned discs.

Have you clicked the AMP line in Video Editor|Windows? This produces a control for each audio track that you wish to control and is nothing to do with audio editor ot the Windows mixer.
