Movie Factory 2, teh playback is Fast forward
I am using Movie Factory Version 2 to copy some family movies. The recording seems to work ok but when I watch the playback the spped is fast forward , I can not figure outr which setting I need to adjust to get this to work. I have used the SW for several years and this is the first tiem I have encountered this problem.
Please tell us something about your file format, and how you captured it. Is the original movie analog or digital, etc.?

First, try capturing with the Pinnacle software that came with your device. Analog capture is tricky, and some capture hardware and software simply don't "play well together." Once you have a digital file on your computer, you can use whatever DVD authoring/burning software you wish.
Real-time capture is the trickiest part of digital video, and it's very demanding. Make sure your system meets Dazzle's requirements:
I didn't see USB-2 anywhere in the specs. You can't transfer high-quality real-time video over USB-1.

Yes. That's analog. Digital sources are DV camcorder, DVD, Internet, or digital broadcast.I am taking some home movies that are on vcr...

Minimum System Requirements:
Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD® Athlon® 1,6 GHz (2,4 GHz recommended)
256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
1 Hi-Speed USB port
Windows® XP, Service Pack 1 (SP1)
DirectX 9 or higher compatible sound card and graphics card (ATI Radeon or Nvidia Geforce 2 or higher recommended)
500 MB of disk space to install software
CD-ROM drive
Optional
CD burner for creating Video CDs or Super Video CDs*
DVD burner drive for creating DVDs*
DVD drive is necessary if you wish to install the bonus DVD containing electronic manual and bonus content (free version onCD-ROMs may be ordered on Pinnacle e-store-shipping cost not included)
It says 'High Speed USB Port'... whatever that means...If I remember correctly, it only uses USB 1.0, at least mine does.
If you have a DV camcorder with analog inputs, you may be able to use it in "pass-thru" mode. Or, make a DV tape and transfer it via Firewire. Otherwise, I would recommend a capture card that can capture to DV format. I made the mistake of buying an MPEG-only capture card, and I've had some problems with MPEGs. (That's a bit of personal bias... some users don't have troble with MPEGs.) The ATI All In Wonder cards are very popular. (I don't own an ATI card, so I can't recommend one.)If the dazzle is not a good device. Do you have any better recommendations?
