two problems, audio after burned to dvd and preview window

Post by big-bry »

Hello group,
I hope someone out there can help me. I'm bringing in video from my DVD Camcorder (no capture needed). The disk import fine. I've found the folder that all the *.MPG are in and they play with the correct audio timing with a third party mpg player (winamp 5.08d). I also found the large mpg file that is my entire 1 hr moive (2.8gb) and it plays fine (audio matches the video). However when I burn it to DVD the audio leads the video about 1 second, very bad!! I'm running VidioStudio 8, and I've tried it with the patch getting the same results. I've read about turning off Smart-Render, but I can't see how to do that. I need help here!!
Also how do I find out what ver of the render engine I have.

My second problems is with the preview window, in VideoStudio Editor.
If I select project everthing play fine, If I select clip the screen flashes at me with nothing from the clip viewable. Again help!!
