I'm having a hard time exporting AVI files in DivX (I' tried Pro 5.2.1 & Pro 6.1) with MPEG-3 audio output.
- When I select "video only", everything goes alright!
- Same thing success when I add the Windows Media Audio stream 2. Everything goes OK.
- But when I try to add the MPEG-3 audio stream, everything goes to hell (= comes up an error window of MFactory).
What the hell can I do to have AVI DivX (Pro 5 or 6) + MPEG-3 audio as exporting result?
NOTE! I have installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack latest (no codec-conflicts!). For MPEG-3, I have installed Lame & Faur...
MFactory 5 has problems with MPEG-3 audio stream

The Ulead programs seem to have lots of trouble with DivX, and some trouble with MP3. (The more compressed the format, the more likely you are to have problems.)Im having a hard time exporting AVI files in DivX (I' tried Pro 5.2.1 & Pro 6.1) with MPEG-3 audio output.
You might have better luck using a program especially made for DivX.

Just do not install your own LAME MP3 codec in your system, that should fix the issue.vidoman wrote:It may have to do with the LAME MP3 codec. For some reason, unknown to me, Ulead's products do not like that codec.

I always use WAV for audio, not MP3. However I do have a couple of other apps that install and use LAME MP3, and can't ditch them. For those apps I can use MP3, but for my videos I stick to WAV. So anyway I don't have the MP3 issue..htchien wrote:Just do not install your own LAME MP3 codec in your system, that should fix the issue.vidoman wrote:It may have to do with the LAME MP3 codec.
