Split by Scene

Studio has stopped capturing by scene and now captures all scenes in the one clip. Split by scene in the capture mode is ticked but greyed out on occasion, other times it is not even ticked. This is something which I have had no problems with in the past. If I capture in Movie Maker it will in fact split by scene. Have I got something wrong with either my settings or preferences. Will some kind person please help?

Hi John

What version of Video Studio are you using?

Split by Scene is only available for capture from a digital source, to DV format.

What capture format are you using?

Moreover, it is only available *during* capture if capturing to DV format. If you are capturing to mpeg format, then you can only use split-by-scene after you have captured the single file...
