videostudio 10 & Divx movies

Does anyone know if videostudio 10 support converting Divx to dvd without any problems? ,i know that dvd moviefactory does support Divx but converts 1 movie up to 10 hours :? :?

Yes, VS10 does support DivX, however VS10 does not have the codec, you must have the DivX codec installed. You can get it here:

so dvd moviefactory doesnt support Divx ? and Videostudio 10 does? :?

You asked if VS10 supported, and stated that you already knew that DMF does, which it does also support DivX.

If you look at Ulead's specifications for each product, you will not find any mention of DivX, because it is not provided by Ulead. DivX, like Huffey, MJPEG, are 3rd party codecs. If you have the codecs installed then you are able to select them from within the Ulead program.

To use them when Creating a Video File, choose for example AVI as the type, and then Options. Then click on the Compression Tab, and in the pull-down menu you will find the codec(s) you are able to use.

I guess think of it as a plug-in to the programs.
