I am combining several DivX HD videos onto a DVD. Is there software that will create traditional menus that will allow 1080i video during the main movie playback?
Can VS, or others, create a DVD menu (normally created at 520(?) that will then play back the video in HD (720p or 1080i) It would seem that the DVD player would have to change output resolution during playback. Not sure if that's possible, or if anyone has alternative software sugestions.
What are the rest of you doing to create title menus with HD output of main video files? Thanks. -Dave

not quite
I've read this post several times and have no problem getting the files in HD DivX. They are great. I am trying to create an upfront menu screen, with thumbnail, titles, music, etc....just like a standard DVD, but while using DivX HD files. That post doesn't adress this. When I pop in my HD DivX disk into the player, it will list the files only, no GUI. Looks like a Windows Explorer screen. I'm wondering if there is a way (other software?) that makes the "nice" menu possible with HD DivX files. Thanks for the idea though. -Dave
