I should have known better

I should have known better. I reinstalled CD&DVD PhotoShow v3.0 and then the new patch as identified by angrakiller. I then built a 200 photo slideshow. Four shows with 50 pictures each. This comes out to be approximately 2.06gb and after one hour of converting slideshows I am 12% and two slideshows are built. If the speed doesn't slow down perhaps This project will be built in approximately 11 to 12 hours. Now I am not using the worlds fastest computer, it is only 2.8mh Intel P4 with 1gig of ram and a 120gb hard disk. I hate to think how much time it would take to build a larger file if it is taking this long to put this project together. No, on second thought, I will just uninstall this program again and forget about it. I have had enough of Ulead and waiting almost six months for a patch to a program which clearly does not work to begin with. Wasted money and time hoping that something might come out of this.

Just like your situation, I create a project with 1.16GB photos,it takes me about 4 hours to burning a DVD, and I am using new AMD64 CPU with 1G Ram and 200GB H.D.

The performance need to be improved, but at least this time I can burn DVDs successfully.

I think the burning progress indicator might not be accurate. When it renders the pictures to the DVD it might be a little slow but when it burns to disc it will be fast.

Just give it a try and see how long it will render and burn to the disc.

Hope this helps.
