not real compliant dolby digital 5.1 sound??
when i make a Dolby Digital 5.1 dvd with videostudio 10 ,and when i play it on my home cinema set ,i get everywhere on every speker also surround speakers very loud sound,it seems that videostudio 10 splitting stereo to 6 speakers
i dont want that ???
nerovision is upmixing the stereo sound to real Dolby Digital 5.1 surround i hear real surround effects on my l and r surround speakers ,why does videostudio splitting it?? how can i change this mode can someone tel me?
As far as I know, Ulead does not have a Dolby Surround decoder. That means it cannot decode the surround information from a 2-channel matrix-encoded soundtrack.nerovision is upmixing the stereo sound to real Dolby Digital 5.1 surround i hear real surround effects on my l and r surround speakers
You wouldn't really gain anything from that anyway, since your Dolby Surround receiver can decode 2-channel encoded surround. And, leaving it to the receiver means that the viewer/listener can adjust the surround to their taste. (If you want to "pan" the sound manually during certain parts of the program, then converting a stereo track to 5.1 does make sense.)
If Nero will give you a 5.1 channel WAV, you should be able to feed that to Video Studio to make a 5.1 channel Dolby DVD. (But, I have not tried it.) Again, you are not gaining anything, if all you are doing is duplicating what the receiver can do.
