Sony cameras that read hi-8 and digital-8???

Hi,

Can anyone point me to a list of digital-8 Sony cameras that will read both hi-8 and digital-8? I had my camera stolen and need to replace it, but I have a lot of old hi-8 tapes I never got around to converting.

I have a Sony Digital8, and it read all my old Hi8 tapes. I believe any Sony Hi8 or Digital8 camera will read Hi8 tapes. However, a Hi8 camera will not read a Digital8 tape.

yeah, that used to be true, but some of the new cameras don't handle Hi8. The TRV280 for instance doesn't seem to be able to read them.
