gif animator transparency

Hi,

I have just downloaded the free trial version of Gif Animator 5, and I have tried for a few hours now to create an AVI file with a transparent background but everything I have tried has failed, I have read the manual, my attribute toolbar seems to be different to the one in the manual as they have a transparent index option and I dont, any help would be much appreciated as it has me beat.

After creating the object, select the object using the Pick Tool. You'll find a Properties button that will appear at the top of the menu. Click the properties button and the Object Properties window will appear. Under the General Tab, you'll see a Transparency option which will now let you set the desired transparency percentage you like. Hope this helps.

Are you trying to save in AVI format? If so, the AVI format doesn't support transparent backgrounds. Only png and gif do.
