Cannot Drag Window

Post by bbogart »

This may seem like a small problem but its big to me. I use an extended desktop (2 monitors) running from my laptop. Normally when a window is not maximized I can drag it to my other monitor and mazimize it. The monitor not only has higher resolution but it is much bigger than my laptop's 10" monitor.

the problem is that with Video Studio the maximize button is not there, the window is always maximized which means I can't drag it to my other monitor. Is there a way to restore the window to not maximized state so I can drag it.

Using this prodeuct on my 10" monitor is really painful.

thank you,
Ben

You need a proper dual head video card with video overlay on both heads to do that. Dual output cards cannot do that.

I think I just didn't explain well. I do this all the time and it is nothing special. When any program windows is not maximized I can drag it to the other screen, but VideoStudio appears to only have minimized and maximized states. I want to be able to move the program window around my desktop. how do I get VideoStudio out of its maximized window state?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben, you can't. Or at least I haven't found a way to do it. :(

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I'm going to give up and use another product. I don't want to have to change my settings. They are so convenient the way they are. I can un plug my laptop and take it with me without making any changes and that is more important to me that using uLead.

Anyway. thanks,
Ben
