Backlit in a smoky room
The simple, pragmatic method would be to make a stencil
of the title, fill a room with smoke, and run a spotlight
left-to right behind the stencil. Looks a little under-cranked
(i.e. speed > 100%).
In 3D packages (I use Lightwave V8.2), the effect can be
accomplished with volumetric lighting. I don't know of
any Ulead product which provides volumetric lighting.

Bernard,
You are correct. At MUG, Ulead Tobie informed us that the demo was completed out of office in the US and may have been done with third party software. This has been a topic about the two referenced software in the demo. Many feel this is misleading. We feel the demo was edited with MSP, modeling with COOL3D PS, mattes with Photo Impact but the titling was done with something else. Adobe After Effects?

Yeah, that is misleading. I don't think you should make a fancy demo for your product, trying to get people to fork over money for it, and then say, "sorry, you actually can't make this demo with our product.".
Demo's for MSP7 should be made with MSP7! (or at least let us know if it was made with something else)
