Wish to know how to lock (link) sound and/or title to a particular clip.

I'm not sure what you mean, are you thinking of “Ripple Editing” or may be rendering into a video file?

Just making a slide show of our trip to Africa and when the photo is moved the accompanied sound / title doesn't remain with that photo and everything needs to be readjusted.
I watched a demonstration on Monday night and it appeared that the demonstrator had linked the sound/title direct to the photo.

If you enable the "Ripple Editing" they should lock - look over in the upper left hand corner of your timeline for "Ripple Editing".
