No Audio while Capturing

Using Movie Factory4 - when capturing (from any source), I can't hear the audio, can only see video. However, when I go to edit I hear the audio. Is this the way the program is or what? My audio plugs and cables, etc. are all plugged in where they should be. It would be nice to watch and hear what I'm capturing. Thanks.

Could be lots of things, usually small stuff, which would you want us to guess on first?

I'll guess!

Open the Windows mixer (double-click the speaker icon) and make sure none of the inputs are muted or turned down.

If that doesn't help, tell us something about your set-up. Are you capturing analog? What kind of a capture device do you have? Are you capturing from a DV camera?
