MediaStudio and WMV-HD

Like to know how (if) MediaStudio can convert my MPEG 2 files to WMV-HD for sharing. Or what else soft can I use ?

My MPEG2 are MPEG2-HD files prduced with Sony HC1 camcorder

Yes it can! You need to make sure you have the microsoft window media codec downloaded though and you should be good to go.

Windows Media Encoder is installed by the MSPro 8 disc. The WMV HD profiles are under the Templates button in the Create/Video File dialog;

As a mater of fact I have VS10 plus that doesn’t include these codecs

- First i tried to install these codecs from Microsoft (WMV9) without any success.

- I then found out from you that MediaStudio 8 comes with the right codecs
that loads when installing ( 6 quality options 3 in full resolution and 3 in 720).

I could not guess this limitation of VS10 plus when I bought it. I thought it was normal to have it since the VS10 plus version is "HD compatible".

Hope ULEAD will do something about that (add those right WMV-HD codec for VS10 plus users )
