Post by Hessenmike »

Hello,

i download the Test-Version of Videostudio 10 and it was great.
Now I buy Videostudio 10 SE DVD and if what copy the movie from my dvd-recorder to my harddisk i have no sound.

The helpline says that is normal on the SE DVD-Version.

Now my question:
if i buy Videostudio 8 can i copy a movie vom my dvd-recorder-dvd to my harddisk with sound ? :?:

No! Not if it's Dolby. VS8 required an extra-cost plug-in for Dolby audio. I don't think the plug-in is available any longer. (Dolby was included with VS9.)

I didn't think you could "buy" the SE version. If you bought it from a 3rd-party, he/she got it free with their hardware. Since you have SE, you can get the upgrade price if you want to upgrade to the full version of VS10 or VS0+.

Mike,
Don't buy Video Studio 8 because it had chronic Audio/video synch problems. Upgrade to 10+ instead.

Thanks all for the fast and goods answers.

I think the best is an upgrade VS10

Thx
