Help I got Squares in Mini DV output

Post by Pmora »

Hi

I use to work with Video Studio 6 and just install my old version of video studio 7
But when I Export my project to my Sony DV Camera Using firework port what I get is some squares in the final product (Its only see it in the Mini Tape)

This is an example that what I what get

Image

Note the image suppous to be white and i get 7 squares insid it just when I Export to my Sonby camera

These are the properties in my Mini dv Project

NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
Microsoft AVI files
24 Bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
DV Video Encoder -- type 1
DV Audio -- NTSC, 48.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo

My computer is an AMD-Duron K6 at 900 MHz
With 256 MB memory and Hard drive with 8mb memory buffer (180 GB)

I’m concern because if I take the same project with video studio 6 It’ll work

Even if I take just the AVI generate with Videostudio 7
And render it again with Videostudio 6

Any Ideas :?:

Thanks for the help

Your computer is not very powerful, and this could be part of your problem...

But I am more interested in the fact that the video you are trying to export to your camera is frame-based. What kind of video is it? Is it, for example, a slide-show of still images? Or is it a moving video? If it is the latter, then why did you produce it 'frame-based' instead of Field Order A (which is what you usually use with a DV video camera)?
