I want to make a set of twins... can i do it with video 9???

Is there a way to split the screen so i can make twins on screen??
I do it all the time with still pics .
If i was to set up a camera on a tripod then point it to a table with a chair on each side and tape myself talking to the other side then i go to the other side and answer myself i could edit them toghether but i cant find a way with video 9 .
I can do it with my old analog board by running in the 2 feeds and splitting the the frames in half .

what do i need to do???
