Hi,
I am trying to load a vsp file (made with videostudio) onto moviefactory, but moviefactory gives me "unable to load to load vsp file". (And it shows this is a file type that is should to able to load?)
Any suggestions?
Unable to load .VSP file
The VSP file is NOT a video file. It's a set of instructions telling Video Studio what to do with the AV files.
Go back to Video Studio.... Click the Share tab and create an AV/DV file, or an MPEG-2 file.

Thanks for the reply....but still a little confused.
Yes, I understand that .vsp not a video file, but a set of instructions....but if moviefactory has this as an uploadable type of file along with mpeg, avi...etc... why doesnt it work?
Also, wouldnt saving it as another type of file make it loose some of its quality? This is why I wanted it to pull from the vsp file....taking it from it's orginial source video.
Thanks again for any reply...

Thanks maddrummer3301!
That answers that.....so I take mf can use fsp "file" from vs9 but not vs10....I wonder why that is??? I will give that a try.....
But you also mentioned that mpeg file is better with vs10 compared to vs9....when rendering a file straight to dvd, is it an mpeg file that is burned onto the cd?
So I guess Im asking, to get the best results, should I just stick with vs10....save my project as a "NTSC DVD file" (would that be the best format to use, if not, what would be?) and then use this file with MF to make my dvd.
Thanks again for help!
