pictureshow 4 freezes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought this program 3 months ago. Burned a show with no problem. I just went to burn another show and my computer freeezes when I go to the burn page. I have reinstalled the software according to ulead's directions and reinstalled, I have downloaded the patch. Every time I go to the 3rd stage "burning" my computer freezes up. Can anyone offer some help. Ulead can't. Should I just cut my loses and buy another program. If so what do you recommend. I have already spent way to much time on this. A dozen emails to ulead and still no fix. They will not refund my money  Why would this work once and then not again

Please help

Hi abacotc1,

If you performed a full "clean" install (including deleting ALL the specified folders, registry entries, etc.) and the program is still crashing at the burn stage, my first suspicion would be a conflict of some kind. Have you installed any new software since the time you originally installed PictureShow? If so, I would suggest uninstalling your new programs, one at a time, and then testing PictureShow after each uninstall.

There's also a possibility that your show contains some corrupt media. To check this, throw together a quick test project using ALL DIFFERENT media and see if you can get through the burn stage.

Let us know if any of this helps :-)
