Hi,
I use VideoStudio 9 and the following analogue TV/FM-Card: LiveView LR 138 AF (sold by typhoon as TYPHOON TV/FM CAPTURE PCI CARD, Art: 50575). This TV-Card uses the SAA7134-Chip from Philips. My< PC as winxp sp2 and DirectX9.0c.
If have installed only the certified WHQL-Driver from Philips for this TV-Card, not the badly digitizer software.
Now I experience that VideoStudio9 generates a visible net (moiree) in preview and recording if I use the S-VHS-Input of the TV-Card. The TV-Card is okay, also VCRs are correct connected and installed to the TV-Card. Also I have cables for the connection in a very good quality.
What can I do?
Other videodigitizer programs don't have this Moiree with the named TV-Card. So it's could be perhaps a good idea to use these programs for recordings instead VS9.
What I have to do to get in these programs an direct access to Uleads mpeg1/2-software encoder of VS9? I think it's a good choice to use this encoder because he generates interlaced PAL (format B for Germany) which can be used in VS9 to produce PAL-Interlaced DVDs.

The best software for capturing from your TV card is the software that comes with the card. You them open the saved video file with VideoStudio to do your editing and DVd authoring.
I have a Hauppauge TV card and find that it is best to use WinTV2000 which is the software that was purpose built for that card.

Hi,
thanks for the kind reply.
I'll try the digitzer software which came with the TV-Card, althought there exists better software than the bundled piece of binary code...
I hope that VS9 can interlace the mpeg2-Video-Output of the TV-Card so I have no bad DVD-Quality. The software encoder (honesstechs mpeg1/2-encoder) delivers only deinterlaced mpegs...
