Upgrade from 3.0

Post by RobbyL »

Hi, I have an old version of Unlead Photo Express. It's 3.0 SE. Is there a free upgrade somewhere?

Thanks

:D FREE???? :D

Usually the "SE" versions come free with hardware. The main idea is to sell you a an upgrade to the full version. (I suspect that Ulead is giving the SE version away free to the hardware manufacturers.)

For most Ulead products there is a special upgrade price, but Photo Express is only $30, and I don't see a lower-price if you are upgrading.

Hi RobbyL, can I ask if you have found an upgrade or an improved version of the 3.0 SE. - Did think about buying the latest P. E. 6 but is it an improvement, or as easy to use I wonder?

DVDDoug, would you kindly say where I can look for 'special upgrade price, but Photo Express is only $30' .

You can find the latest PhotoExpress version here:

http://www.ulead.com/pe/

Or a repackaged version of PhotoExpress sold by Nova Development here:

http://www.novadevelopment.com/Products/us/prw/

It's the same version of PhotoExpress 6 but has some more bonus photos.

You can see the version comparisons here:

http://www.ulead.com/pe/compare.htm

Hope this helps.

Thank you for reply HT, appreciated and will consider those.

Mention that up to now been quite happy with version 3.0 SE as interested in trying to blend old photos with my own sketches from memory of local scenes in the 1940/50's.
Yes that's the penalty of 'getting on a bit' :) nostalgia think it's called but have a digital camera now to make a new interest.
