CD-R/CD-RW & CD Burners

I was thinking of purchasing DVD Movie Factory but I did have a couple of questions. First of all, can I only burn to DVD-R & DVD-RW's...and do I have to have a DVD burner in my computer to do it ? Currently I only have a regular CD burner. Thanks

What tpyes of DVD's you can burn depends on the burner, any DVD burnere will do. It doesn't have to be installed internally on the machine but they are usually half the price.
