double screen

I encountered this wierd problem. 1st I ripped four, 40 minute programs from a disk to SVCD. Then I took the mpg files and made a 4 program DVD. The reason is because of no sound when importing them. anyways, i have dont this before and it works great except this time. When I burned the disk I put it in my dvd player and it had a double screen. Meaning the the tv screen was split in 3 places 1st in 1/2 acrross center from left to right. the bottom was blank the topw was split again in 1/2 from top to bottom. Each of these had the show playing in them. It was the same show playing at the same time in both screens. anyone have any ideas?

version 3.5
no updates or patches
mpeg files were SVCD
mpeg2 480X480 2376kbps
I have used same format before and it works just this one time it didnt. only thing i did different was added audio to menu. Also if it helps i had i didnt have 1 title with 4 chapters i had 4 titles each 1 chapter.
