Now my DVD's stoped burning
When every I try to burn a disc now, it will not burn, It renders and every thing but when its done rendering and it gets to the point where it would say, "video & audio mulitplexing" I get and error box that comes up that said "Am unknown problem has ocorred, the program will shut down now, Send Error report or Dont send" I have gotten this message the last 4 time I have tryed to burn this disc and I have send an error report every time and it still does not help any. Any help to why this is going on?

When you mention 'rendering' in the context of burning, it implies you have jumped an important step in your work flow. Essentially, we recommend you capture and edit your video (preferably in DV format, though this may not always be possible). Then, after editing, you go to Share > Create Video File > DVD. This will produce a DVD-compatible mpeg-2 file. Make sure you choose properties in the selected template which you intend to use later in the burning.
Once you have this file, then close your project and open a new one, but leave the timeline empty. Then go to Share > Create Disc > DVD. The burning module will open. Insert your DVD-compatible mpeg-2 file(s). Make sure the burning properties are the same as the mpeg-2 properties -- check this in the middle of the three icons in the bottom left of the burning screen. Create your menu and burn.
Using this procedure, you should not have rendering in the burning phase (apart from production of the menu).
While it is theoretically possible to go straight from editing to the burning stage, too many people have had too many problems doing it this way. That is why we recommend the separate steps I have outlined above.

I just did what you said, and the audio still messes up, I have spend countless headeachs and $150 on this program and nothing works.
What I dont understand is why when I first got this program, I had no problems with this at all, it worked great, Burned my dvd, Video perfect, audio perfectly in sync, Menus looked great (except for that white text turns in to black text eeror) I never had any problems, I stop using the program for about 3 months, and when I go to use it again, it does this audio sync crap. Why do this program just alll of the sudden stop working when It was working perfectly befor?

Hi,
I think it's would be a good idea to post which changings do you had made in windows in these 3 months. Make also a typical example where this error occurs.
I have no troubles with VS. Although:
1. Many small single video files makes troubles in the timeline if I'll jump between the files.
2. The DVD-Menu-Creator needs too much RAM and after a preview of the generated DVD VS very often ends itself without any error (I have 512 MByte RAM and enough swap memory). So I don't use this preview feature if I'll generate a DVD.
3. Also I don't burn the DVD direct. The burning module of VS is also in his newest version buggy and interrupts too often the burning process.
So I generate always an iso-file of the DVD and burn this file with Nero. And so I can find out if the DVD is burned correct or has Read-/Write-Errors.

I never did anything in thoes 3 months, I naver even turned on my computer, I was on vacation and When I came back and tryed to burn somthing a have all thoes audio problems,
Itryed doing what the other guy did, not burning it right to the disc, clicking create disc and clicking DVD and waiting for it to render, I afrer I was done, I click on the new file and the audio is all messed up, So that means its not the dvd burner messing up the audio, It the program not knowing how to render.
I realy liked this program too, And i just dont know why it when bad after it worked so great

Hmm,
could it be that you using a wrong format for the audio files? Or do you generate a wrong DVD-Version?
Check out the preferences of VS and also the project preferences. Check also the preferences direct before you'll generate the DVD-file.
The DVD generator shows which parts of the generation is completed. In which phase VS interrupts?

This is all I do, I import a VHS tape I want to burn on DVD so I can save it for ever and throw out the old tape, Its why I bought this program.
I use the ADX tech video importer that came with the program. and Import my video.
I open it up in the editing software.
and burn it and i get audio problems.
Joe Louvar I have stated many time in the past i have no clue how to find that stuff, I am a computer noob, and the only reason for getting this program was to save old video tapes.
