Hi All. Most of my event videos have been 'long form'. 5 Chapters (5 seperate projects) each anywhere from 5mins to 1 hour in length each. I've decided to try doing 'short form' projects where I combine the best scenes/sequences from the 5 chapters into the one project. Rather than go back to the original video files from Camera 1 / Camera 2 / Camera 3... I found it much easier to just insert the project chapters into my short form project and then trim and edit those inserted projects as needed.
The concept seemed great and I thought it looked good until I discovered that there is severe interlacing on the rendered video. I thought I tried all of the different options (upper field / lower field / etc) but the interlacing always shows up.
As a test... I went back to one of the chapter files and rendered it and it looked fine. I then opened up a new file....inserted that recently tested chapter file...and rendered out a video file with all of the same options and the video was interlaced.
Anyone have any feedback or ideas on how I can fix this? I spent a good amount of time making that 'short form' project but now it looks like I might not even deliver it on the client's disc because the interlacing is unbearable.
Thanks for any help!
