Stutter/ Flicker Problems

This is my current info

VideoStudio 7

NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG files
24 Bits, 352 x 240, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
(Video CD-NTSC), 4:3
Video data rate: 1150 kbps
Audio data rate: 224 kbps
MPEG audio layer 2, 44.1 KHz, Stereo
I am running Windows ME, Pent. III 1300, 383 mb ram, NVIDA card.....

I got my software at CompUSA with a firewire board, and it did not include much documentation....virtually nothing actually. I am having a hard time all around but my big problem is with stutter and flicker problems while capturing DV.

Any suggestions?

That's the vcd template, use the DVD template or DV which wuld be my choice.

how do you change the template?

Click the file.movie manager (or something simialr) button to create templates or click the format drop down box to pick a template or you can change the settings of a template maunally by selecting capture settings by clicking the gear labled options.

All this is found in the capture window.
