I have VS 4 Basic that came with my camcorder. When I load still images they get stretched to fit the screen. Is there a setting that I can change to have them load just the way they are?
Thanks,
Ward

Along the same line, my high res still image becomes very fuzzy/soft when rendered to DVD. I think it is the result of resampling, as I got the resample option ON (default).
I know that DVD or TV resolution isn't anywhere near the res of the JPEG still, but is there anyway to improve on the still image?
One thought I have is to resize it myself to near VGA resolution (near teh same as DVD/MPEG2 size), clean it up, then insert into VS8.
Any comment?

greetings;
I'v not worked with uvs 4 I workin uvs 8, I know in uvs 8 when you drop a jpg or bmp or other still on the time line either the video or overlay time lines there is the pan and scan button on the left side of uvs, I have found that my still picture will look the way they should when I activate pan and scan.
