applying custom effects

I have defined 9 basic video effects which i apply to all clips ... they are all in the "custom" folder ... but to apply them i need drag them one by one to the clip ????

it keeps seeming to me that there must be a way i could apply the whole folder, but i can't seem to get that to work ... is there a way? if not, why not?

Apply it to the first clip, select it and copy (Ctrl-C). Then select all the other clips on the timeline and right-click. Select Paste Attributes. You will be able to choose which of the effect types you wish to copy, all of them by default.

Sorry, but they already have done so! Have a look in your manual at pp 63-64!
